Try Harder

Sigh... i fail my first driving test attempt.. so now, i've to go through practice again while waiting for my next test date in September.

It wasn't a pleasant weekend for us. Sweet Mr. G tried to cheer me up on Friday and brought me to dinner - My favorite chillie crabbies!! But but... as we were on our way for a drink, ah.... something bad luck just happened. No moods at all, we even cancelled our Saturday plans to National Musem.... *Sobs*

Hopefully it's gonna be a better week and time to plan for holiday! Where to for a nearby budget trip? Hmmms....

没有 Mr. G 的日子, 3/7 days (晴)

Hee hee... if you watched TVB series, you probably would know who i immitated :D

Was skyping with Mr. G just now and he was telling me, hey you can write a post on the days without him, heee.. And yeap, my dearie is away for 7 days to Mumbai and Dubai again; today is the 4th day, hurray.. 3 more days to go. Recently i've been really really lazy to blog, facebook and upload photos. Never used to be like that but i think i'm really burn out recently. Hopefully it'll be better if i pass my driving test next month!

Oh ya, i went to Penang to attend Ms. Keng.. erm now Mrs. Eng's wedding with the group of ex-PC gals 2 weeks back and the trip was really good and fun. Just love the company of this group of girls :D And finally i downloaded the pics from my camera 2mins back - Some photos taken during the wedding day :)

Again? Uncompleted Trip Journal?

Heee... seems like i got stuck again. Never seem to complete my trip journal always *Ooops* Have been really busy at work and kinda lazy to surf net when home.

This week been pretty busy with my driving test date finalized, i have to complete all my 5 stages of driving lessons no later than 26 June! After work was meet ups with friends and colleagues for dinner, squeezing lessons in between and a good news to share..... Our dear Ms. Keng is getting married this Sunday!! i wrote my wishes to her saying she always never fail to surprise us. Back then at PC, she was the one whom as not attached and now... she is the first to get hitched!! Always a slient killer, heee...

And over the weekends, i'll be flying to Penang to attend her wedding with the fun group of ex-PC mates! I'm sure its going to be fun and maybe it's excitement that's causing the insomnia tonight :)

One bad news... my lappie is down *Sobs* Now thinking hard if i should get a new one or have it repaired....

Hong Kong Day 2

Shall continue with my Day 2 trip journal. Hee.... i really hope this would be a complete trip journal, hahaha... i always have the tendency to stop at 3rd/4th day :D

Day 2 was still alright but... hmm, had some hiccups with Mr. G in the afternoon *_* But luckily it was just a short one.... and there we go; continued our tour. We took quite alot of pics (as usual), heee... but there's one very 'funny' photo we took. Not too sure why G hugged me this way too but i can see the person who is taking the photo for us was giggling away....

2009 Hong Kong Trip

It's been a year since my last work trip to Hong Kong and finally this time round it's for tour!! :)

But then again, it's probably not the best time to go there now due to the swine flu. Everyday when we were there, the media and news kept reporting about. I was pretty scared as i wasn't in my best health condition during this trip. The tension in Hong Kong hyped after the 1st confirmed H1N1 flu was announced. Immediately that morning, a notice was slotted to our room by the hotel management. Then on the street, quite a number of people were putting on mask and there after, we decided that we should get one too! Well, better play safe then be sorry.

So some pictures during the last 2 days will look like that! Hee.... It was a fun trip after all. Minus the swine flu hoo-haa *_*

"u not as efficient as b4 liao la" - OMG

Today i received a sms from Sha Sha... she said "hey... where's the ice cream pix? aiyo... u not as efficient as b4 liao la" Hmmm.... cos we went Ben & Jerry last week to celebrate PJ's birthday, took some pics with my camera; which i used to send them the photos almost immediately that day or not, the next. But this time.... *oops!* i haven't even look at the pics myself till now.

Been busy planning for my HK trip, checking accommodation rates - cos apparently i planned to stay at 3 different area, so gonna search for 3 different hotels for our trip :D Plus researching on Macau cos it's gonna be our first trip there. Not forgetting my driving lessons. Yeah...!!! i've passed my final theory and i need to quickly finish the course so i can go for my test. Again, BBDC business is extremely good. It's so tough to book on to weekends! And well, i kinda have to everyday log in to the homepage at least twice to check if someone had let go their slots... :S

Passed - Yeappie!

Yeappies.. finally i passed my 'evaluation' after 2 tries. The Q&A book really helps! :) Ah.. but still, most importantly i need to pass the Final Theory in 2 weeks' time, so i'll just continue to read that book.

Oh ya, my very very first trial on Saturday, driving beyond the circuit-outside the school! Scary.. but i guess i'm lov'in it!! Seriously, i look forward to my next lesson and if time allows, i am hoping to arrange more than one lesson a week. That means i have to spend both my weekend at BBDC?? Hmm.... shall think about it ... :D

Friday was my company's corporate day. I thought the whole day event was really good; it was meaningful, motivational, yet fun and exciting. Hmm... how should i say... a very good mix of all activities? :) We started off with some fun exercise, then to MD presentation, to some kiddish clap & sing-along song, follow by witty team building sessions... proceeding on to sexy salsa dance class and not forgetting, drinking session with the team :)

So Sunday was my R & R day. Decided to pop by Mr. G's sista's place to visit his nephews and niece - cos we had missed her birthday 3 weeks back.

Its a MCQ Week

Today, i received a call from the driving school-BBDC.... You know what, it was a kinda follow-up/reminder call saying: "Hey Xerene, we noticed that you have booked on the Final Theory Test in first week of April and are you aware that you need to pass your 'Evaluation' 2 weeks prior to the test?" Heee.. i was surprise that do such 'customer service' calls but its good, cos at least they make an effort to remind you.

It was my second FAIL for the school's evaluation test last Sunday and my lastest date to pass this is by next Tuesday!! So this Saturday's evaluation test is a 'die-die also must pass'! Thinking back, rather regret why i didn't listen to Mr. G.. i should have gotten the MCQ revision book since i don't have time to go down for a practice session. Now = 2 fails + waste time + naggings/teachings *_* (but i know you meant well my dear, heeeee :D)

Studying Hard.. i am! :)

So i've finally got my Q&A book yesterday! Been reading on it :)

Oh ya, i attended 2 practical lessons till date and so far so fun, heee... It's kinda interesting coordinating the clutch, changing gears, braking etc.. Except that i seem to have a problem controlling my steering wheels. Just weird, either over-steered or under-steered, ah.. need more more practice..!

Hmm... or i shouldn't say it so early? Cos Mr. G was telling me.... "Fun?! Wait till you drive out to the main road, changing of lanes and so forth..." Oooops! Picturing that scenario now seems far from fun. Anyway, shan't think about it first whilst i still have the interest going on. Looking forward to my 3rd lesson this Saturday! Till then.. :)
